Weird Art In My Eye!

hWhat I love most about taking pictures is changing them into art. Maybe it's because I don't have a fab camera, maybe it's because I don't utilize my environment more, or maybe it's because my Eyes See Something Unique Hidden Within An Everyday Picture.  Light, Color, Shadows, Scratches, Focuses...so many uses can morph a picture of food or people into something totally different and unexpected. Here is a glimpse of the Weird Art In My Eyes...

I Am Asking YOU!!!!

I have been so busy lately, sick, and I just had surgery today. I feel as though my poor little blog has been abandoned. If any of you enjoy my blog at all then please forgive my absence...hang in with me still!

I am needing some inspirations for pictures. Not on,y have I not blogged, but I haven't pic'd either. Well, that's not entirely true. I have a few more photos of myself, but I refuse to post them because people really will think I am obsessed with myself, which I'm not. It's just my face is always available and I have been trying out new things.

To remedy my dilemma, I am asking for some feedback from YOU!!! Give me some themes or ideas of things to take pictures of. Things readily available that I could transform into a work of photoartography! Let me know. I wanna hear from you all seriously. Just post a comment here and I will begin making Blog themes for each topic picked.

Ok peeps, don't leave me hanging...

Star Wars Phenomena!

Every month we have a Theme Night at our Youth Group and this one was Star Wars Night. Some dressed up great while others were too chicken to use the creativity inside them. I had fun really playing around with these photos! NOT having a flash on the iPad made for some interesting photos when the lights were out. This night was a success...bet you never thought you would see a Star Wars Re-enactment of the Bible...hahaha! Neither did our Youth. We ended our night ironically watching Transformers 3 instead of something Star Wars related...who said we had to stay by the book! Live Free People! Hahaha!

Enjoy as you step into........the Twilight Zone...
doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo...oh wait wrong movie! Lol!
**Disclaimer...if you don't think we are Star Wars enough it's really going to be ok! A little fun is O-K! Lol!

Day Trip

Last week my family was in town visiting from Florida. One of the days we randomly decided to take a Day Trip Day. The kiddos missed school and ventured into the land of Montezuma Castle. Before we knew it we ended up in Sedona's Red Rock Habitat where we became tantalized by Tlaquepaque's shops. As the sun started to set, we headed back down the mountainous terrain to The Valley of the Sun...Good Ol' Phoenix. There we fine dined at True Foods and let's just say the taste was not for every one's palates...mainly my boys...LOL!

Here are some of the cool pics I snapped, wish I would have taken more. :)

NATURE TIME

Montezuma's Castle (the smaller of the 2 sites)
About 35 people lived in this 2 story building on the mountain.

Over here is a pic of the mountain view as we were driving. I added fake rain because  it made it pop with vibrancy. Call me weird, but I thought it was cool! :)

Within the reserve area of Montezuma's Castle, actually in between the two structures. These were Nature's Camoflague trees. The kiddos thought they were very cool looking trees. The whole experience of the trip was great for them, even if it was short.

The foliage was beautiful! Even with my little iPad, the beauty can be seen. Ah...give me a Rebel and wowzers!

Call this Flower Art!
I can't help but turn ordinary
pictures into something that
looks more like a painting of sorts.
I think that is more my obsession
than actually taking the pictures. Hehehe!

Gotta love fruity cacti! Funny thing is this picture I actually took with a plain iPhone camera (back before my Droid) while at the Botanical Gardens. I enhanced the color a bit more using my iPad editing apps, but just thought it was cool looking.

It's All About The Family Now!!!

My daughter
like to model for me much more than the boys wanted to!

My Two Youngest Monkey's

Mommy and Daughter Blowing Bubble Faces In Front Of Those Camo Trees.

Daddy and Oldest...Just Way Too Tough for this Excursion, especially the shops in Sedona. Lol! :)

This kid can get under my skin as he tries to become a teenager and grow a moustache, but I love him like crazy! Mommy and Oldest...where it all started!

Great Grandma and Great Grandaughter checking out the map of where to go first. This was there first time meeting and they took to each other right away. A bittersweet moment when it was time to say goodbye.

I asked her to pose like those statues...hahaha...my goofy gal! :)

More of my precious little gem...she is the princess of this family of five! :)

That's all for now! Hope you enjoyed a glimpse into my life through the eyes of my iPad! :)

Until the Next Pic,
